Got my hands on the new Robert Greene/50 Cent collab book and suprisingly not disapointed.
Im about 3 chapters in and if it ended there i would still feel i got my moneys worth out of the book.
Do i think this is the result of 50 cent paying Robert Greene a ridicoulus amount of cash to glorify his life? yes.....but the book still holds up & has substance. Better than the art of seduction cant say more than that for now....

The book is a dedication to the pioneer spirit ,taking shit and making it sugar and the mindset of a realist.The emphasis is on FEAR and how it holds us back from harnessing your true capabilitys. and its a hit or miss kind of thing , if this fits the person you are ....its solid gold , subconscious thought put into tangible chapters. this is what it was for me.

CityCAT Air Powered Car, Zero Pollution Motors -

This air powered wonder is set to hit production sometime between 2009 and 2010 in the United States. The company, Zero Pollution Motors has confirmed this with Popular Mechanics magazine, stating that its price would be sub-$18000. ZPM is the US licensee for the France-Based MDI (Motor Development International) headed by Guy Negre, the inventor of Formula One engines. The promise is that the airpowered car will be able to go 1000miles at 96mph on one tank of air…The European version of the vehicle, the CityCat, is already undergoing safety and crash tests in Europe. This could be the first >100mpg non-electric, non-gas car that you could purchase. ZPM/MDI have entered their car into the Progressive Automotive X-Prize.

Air power has been around for decades, but only now are we seriously looking into it to power vehicles. Part of the problem was compressing the air safely. For example, to get enough mileage you might have to compress the air to 300 times standard atmospheric pressure. Such high pressures can literally cause the tank to explode. However with newer materials and alloys, the air powered vehicle has become a reality.

Apple Computer has recently filed a patent for placing solar panels beneath touchscreens similar to those used in the iPhone. Though personally I doubt that solar technology is efficient enough to fully charge an iPhone in a reasonable amount of time, it might just add an hour or more of use. Dint really impress me to much but the design of it was done right and i thought props were due.

The idea was to create as unique a calendar so that the process of its
presenting would become an outstanding event. Alongside with this, it was
important to expose theidea of "energy", as it is predetermined by
the name and logo of the company. Each page is a month and it looks like a comb
made of matches that correspond to the days. The matches are real and the
construction of the calendar is absolutely safe.

- 9.8 inches wide, 5 inches high.

- Bound on metal spring 1.2 inches diameter.

- Silk printing 2 colors.

- Matches are dipped in a special chemical solution and covered with
sulphur, striking surface stripes are applied on both sides of a stand base.

While working in Photoshop and CAD I've always wanted physical, dedicated buttons to perform certain oft-repeated actions, but my laptop's QWERTY ain't got the space. Could this be the answer? The DX-1 Input System has 25 programmable, label-able keys you can stick anywhere on the transparent tray, which you can also slide labels under (like the transparent sheet on top of a Wacom tablet). It seems better to me than that Optimus Maximus keyboard with the LCD keys, because you can actually select the layout here and sort of tailor the ergonomics.

Amputation Knife (1700s)
Knives used for amputations during the 18th century were typically curved, because surgeons tended to make a circular cut through the skin and muscle before the bone was cut with a saw. By the 1800s, straight knives became more popular because they made it easier to leave a flap of skin that could be used to cover the exposed stump.

Amputation Saw (1600s)
While some surgeons chose to flaunt their wealth with elaborately decorated saws like this, the crevices in the intricate engravings proved to be a breeding ground for germs.

Arrow Remover (1500s)
Not much is known about this tool, but it is hypothesized that it was inserted into the wound in a contracted position, with the central shaft used to grasp the arrow. The blades, which appear to have their sharp edges facing outward, were then expanded using the scissor-like handles, thus expanding the flesh around the arrow to prevent the arrowhead from ripping through the meat as it was pulled out.

Artificial Leech (1800s)
Bloodletting with leeches was such a popular treatment for a range of medical conditions that an artificial leech was invented in 1840 and was used frequently in eye and ear surgery. The rotating blades would cut a wound in the patient's skin, while the cylinder would be used to produce a vacuum that sucked up the blood.

Bullet Extractor (1500s)
Elongated bullet extractors could reach bullets embedded deeply in the patient's body. Extractors like this one had a screw tip that could be inserted in the wound and lengthened to pierce the bullet so that it could be pulled out.

Cervical Dilator (1800s)
This instrument was used to dilate a woman's cervix during labor, with the amount of dilation measured on the scale by the handle. Such dilators fell out of favor because they often caused the cervix to tear.

Circumcision Knife (1770s)
Ritual circumcision is performed around the world in varying extents and for varying reasons, but few instruments used in the process are as intimidating as this European knife from the 18th century.

Ecraseur (1870s)
This ecraseur was used to sever hemorrhoids and uterine or ovarian tumors. The chain was looped over the mass and tightened using the ratchet, stopping the circulation of blood to the area.

Hemorrhoid Forceps (1800s)
These forceps were used to grasp a hemorrhoid between the blades and apply pressure to stop the blood supply, causing the hemorrhoid to drop off.

Hernia Tool (1850s)
This unique tool was used after the restoration of a hernia. It was inserted into the body near the affected area and left there for a week to produce scar tissue that would help seal off the hernia.

Hirtz Compass (1915)
The Hirtz compass was used to accurately determine where bullets were located in the body so that they could then be removed with precision.

Hysterotome/Metrotome (1860s-90s)
This hysterotome or metrotome was used to amputate the cervix during a hysterectomy.

Lithotome (1740s-1830s)
This lithotome was used to cut the bladder in order to remove stones. The shaft contained a hidden blade that was inserted into the bladder and then released using a spring handle.

Scarificator (1910s-20s)
Scarificators were used in bloodletting. The spring-loaded blades in this device would cut into the skin, and a special rounded glass cup could be applied over the wound. When warmed, it would help draw the blood out at a faster rate.

Skull Saw (1830s-60s)
This hand-cranked saw's blades were used to cut through sections of the skull, allowing for access by other instruments.

Tobacco Smoke Enema (1750s-1810s)
The tobacco enema was used to infuse tobacco smoke into a patient's rectum for various medical purposes, primarily the resuscitation of drowning victims. A rectal tube inserted into the anus was connected to a fumigator and bellows that forced the smoke towards the rectum. The warmth of the smoke was thought to promote respiration, but doubts about the credibility of tobacco enemas led to the popular phrase "blow smoke up one's ass."

Tonsil Guillotine (1860s)
This method of removing tonsils worked much like a traditional guillotine, slicing off the infected tonsils. This "double guillotine" design meant that both tonsils could be removed at the same time. Tonsil guillotines were replaced by forceps and scalpels in the early 20th century due to the high rate of hemorrhaging and the imprecise nature of the device, which often left tonsil remnants in the mouth.

Trephine (1800s)
This trephine was a hand-powered drill with a cylindrical blade that was used to bore into the skull. The spike in the center was used to start the procedure and to hold the blade in place while cutting.

Vaginal Speculum (1600s)
Specula have been used for thousands of years to allow doctors better vision and access to the vaginal area (or other body cavities) by expanding after insertion. This 17th century European example, which appears to use a cranking motion to expand, is more ornate and intimidating than most.

German researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute for Photonic Microsystems have embedded a head-mounted microdisplay into a pair of glasses—allowing the user to access and manipulate data with simple eye movements:

“The [CMOS] chip measuring 19.3 by 17 millimeters is fitted on the prototype eyeglasses behind the hinge on the temple. From the temple the image on the microdisplay is projected onto the retina of the user so that it appears to be viewed from a distance of about one meter. Purported as the world’s smallest microwave, it is handily powered by the USB port on your laptop. To get those cups of tea or soup piping hot, the Beanzawave utilizes a combination of mobile phone radio frequencies to generate the heat needed to cook your meal.

According to the UK Microwave Association the technology is real and can actually work. The prototype comes in at a tiny 7.5 inches tall, 6.2 inches wide and 5.9 inches deep. While not yet available for sale, it will reportedly be available first in Europe for about £100 (about $164)—a price that Heinz says will lower as the cost of production decreases.

Obviously influenced by a perception of time as a linear flow, it brings to mind the progress bars below our everpresent online video players, contextualizing our lives as finite things to be lived well and with no regrets. While not immediately available, it’s looking for partners in production, so keep your fingers crossed.

This one’s kinda hard to swallow so take a deep breath, open your minds, and pretend it’s 2100. I CONTACT is essentially a mouse fitted to your eyeball. The lens is inserted like any other normal contact lens except it’s laced with sensors to track eye movement, relaying that position to a receiver connected to your computer. Theoretically that should give you full control over a mouse cursor. I’d imagine holding a blink correlates to mouse clicks.

The idea was originally created for people with disabilities but anyone could use it. Those of us too lazy to use a mouse now have a free hand to do whatever it is people do when they sit at the computer for endless hours. I love the idea but there is a caveat. How is the lens powered? Perhaps in the future, electrical power can be harnessed from the human body, just not in a Matrix creepy-like way.

The Force Trainer simply requires its user to strap a wireless brainwave analyser around their head and then to concentrate their thoughts on raising a ping-pong ball up a 10in vertical tube. The harder they concentrate, the faster a fan in the gadget’s base spins, which pushes the ball upwards.

It’s been designed by US toy firm Uncle Milton Industries and, although it lacks the technical prowess of Emotiv Systems’ Epoc neuroheadset, The Force Trainer sounds remarkably similar to Mattel’s MindFlex game – seen at CES last week.

The Force Trainer is expected to find its way into shops later this year for around $100

"Monopoly, in spite being the classiest of all board games, unfortunately is packaged just as boringly and uncreatively as every other garbage board game on the shelves. So, I decided to repackage it... turning the class up to 11.

All of the boxes are made out of chocolate brown mat board and skinned in cream arches cover. The final package is just over 10" x 10" x 1.5" and includes smaller containers for all of the various pieces and cards and a laser-cut holder for all of the houses and hotels."

Monopoly is my all time favorite board game, and I love his take on it. I would love a Monopoly set like this!
